Preparatory work:

- Heat your Tiger Fire open planchaBBQ with a hot and cooler zone. Make sure the hot zone is at least 250 degrees.

- Make round balls of the minced meat of 75gr each.

- Wash the lettuce, cut the onions into fine half rings and thinly slice the tomato.

- For the homemade BBQ sauce, mix the mayonnaise, mustard and vinegar. Add the pickles cut into very small pieces (brunoise) and season with salt and pepper. It is best to make this ahead of time and leave it in the refrigerator for a few hours before using it so that the flavors can mix well.

Let's cook!

- Cook gently on the cooler side of the barbecue until the onions are soft, adding the sugar at the end to make them soft and sweet.

- Place the meatballs on the hot side of the plancha and flatten them with the two spatulas. Season them with salt and pepper and let them grill for 2 minutes.

- Turn the patties over, season with salt and pepper and place a piece of cheddar cheese on top to melt it. Grill that side for two minutes and remove from the barbecue.

- Meanwhile, slice the hamburger buns and grill the inside for 30 seconds on the stovetop to crisp them up.

- Now it's time to make the burger: first put some lettuce on the bottom of the bun and add some of the burger sauce. Then place two burgers with a slice of tomato on top. Add the sweet onions, some more burger sauce and top with the bun to finish it off.

Suggestion

- Place a nice knife in the burger to hold them in place and serve these delicious burgers with some fries.
